Breakfast Smoothie for Hikers

Some university researchers recently said this is the best thing to have before taking any kind of strenuous exercise. It makes a complete meal in itself. Rinse the blender out straightaway, or it’ll be a pain to wash later.

Ingredients

  • Blend the following:
  • 1 banana
  • a big handful of oats
  • about half a pint of fresh squeezed orange juice
  • a big dollop of live soya yoghurt
  • a handful of frozen raspberries or blueberries

Method

  • Basically, just blend and then drink!
