Breakfast Smoothie for Hikers
Some university researchers recently said this is the best thing to have before taking any kind of strenuous exercise. It makes a complete meal in itself. Rinse the blender out straightaway, or it’ll be a pain to wash later.

Ingredients
- Blend the following:
- 1 banana
- a big handful of oats
- about half a pint of fresh squeezed orange juice
- a big dollop of live soya yoghurt
- a handful of frozen raspberries or blueberries
